Disney’s new streaming service Disney+ will be launching on November 12 in the US and in addition to access to a huge library of classic movies and TV shows, a number of new additions have already been confirmed including Monsters at Work, WandaVision, and Secret Society of Second Born Royals.
However, at the recent Annecy International Animated Film Festival, it was announced that a brand new Chip ‘n’ Dale animation series will also be launching on the streaming service.
According to What’s On Disney Plus, the new original animated series will be made up of 39 episodes of around seven minutes each. The series will follow Chip ‘n’ Dale’s wacky adventures in the big city, combining a traditional style of animation with contemporary.
The show will be directed by Jean Cayrol and produced by Marc du Pontavice. Disney’s London based animation team will work in collaboration with Paris’ Xilam Animation to develop the show, whilst Xilam will fully produce the series.
