James Corden was joined by the stars of Aladdin for a very special edition of ‘Crosswalk the Musical’ on The Late Late Show.

Dressed as the Genie, James introduced Mena Massoud (Aladdin) and Naomi Scott (Jasmine) to his group, as they prepared to perform some of the movie’s most iconic tracks along a crosswalk. However, James’ plans to play the Genie were soon thwarted when Will Smith himself turned up to claim the role.

Settling as Abu instead, James, Mena, Naomi and Will took to the streets of Agrabah, or the crosswalk of LA’s Beverly Boulevard between you and I, to deliver sensational performances of tracks including ‘Friend Like Me’ and ‘A Whole New World’, delighting and confusing car drivers before having to clear the crosswalk for moving traffic. There’s even a unique take on the movie’s magic carpet…
